Blanka and Sagat?!?! Yes, please. I need to start saving up some Fight Money.
Team Versus Mode allows local teams of up to five players to fight it out to see which side will come out victorious. To start it up, head to the main menu, select Versus, which will take you to another screen allowing you the option to choose Team Versus. Once you select it, you’ll be prompted with a list of different options to match your desired Team Battle, whether it’s against a team of players or CPU.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition feels like a brand new game. I only played through one Street Fighter 1 arcade mode last night before I had to stop, but dang… this game just dragon punched its former self. And it was all free. Even the menus are better. The new music, the new transitions, the new gallery, the new ways to earn Fight Money… I actually can’t wait to play more of this 2-year-old game tonight. Like, I now have to decide between BF2’s Starfighter Assault and SFV Arcade Mode. It’s that good.
And, for the first time, I’m actually contemplating buying the Season 3 pass instead of using earned FM, just so I have more characters to play with.
Worth $40? That seems to be what it’s going for, right?
I believe the AE version comes with all Season 1 and 2 characters… so… it would be worth it for me. I can’t really speak on if it would be worth it to you. I don’t know how much you like fighting games or Street Fighter.
I was a regular at Friday Night Fights with SFIV, but that was a long time ago and things have changed quite a bit since then. I haven’t touched Injustice since beating the story mode, so that’s probably a sign that I shouldn’t be spending $40 on this. Especially since I mostly only play fighting games for the story modes these days.
