Maybe it’s time to take a different approach, Jay.
I get what you’re saying. I already bought some rattraps and marshmallows.
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, PS4
The Deadly Tower of Monsters, PS4
DiRT 3, PS3
Costume Quest 2, PS3
Letter Quest Remasterd, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
Pumped BMX+, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4 and PS3)
EGttR is great for those that ignored my review and constant praises.
I had to look up Deadly Tower of Monsters. It doesn’t look terrible…
Oh, but those cross-buy Vita games on the other hand… eek.
GODDAMMIT. Already own the PS4 titles.
By the by, Deadly Tower of Monsters is pretty fun for what it is.
Cool. That’s what I wanted to hear. Off topic, but kinda related—I finally got around to playing Grow Home and realized just how many PS+ games I have sitting in my queue waiting for me to play them. It’s insane.
I watched the QL of Deadly Tower back when it was released and I loved the style. This is a solid month for me, as I don’t own either game. Very happy with Sony’s effort.
Invisible, Inc., PS4
Stories: Path of Destinies, PS4
Hyper Void, PS3
Tiny Troopers Joint Ops, PS3 (Cross buy on PS4 and Vita)
Color Guardians, PS Vita (Cross buy on PS4)
VVVVVV, PS Vita
I have literally never heard of any of these.
Okay, after watching all the trailers, I have seen that Invisible Inc game at some point. Also, the EU blog lists Hyper Void as a PS4 cross-buy and it has a VR mode… so potentially 5 PS4 games in December.
Stories: The Path of Destinies (PS4)
Invisible, Inc. (PS4)
Hyper Void (PS4, PS3, PS Vita)
Tiny Troopers Join Ops (PS4, PS3, PS Vita)
Color Guardians (PS4, PS Vita)
VVVVVV (PS Vita)
Damn you @LASSIE for talking me in to buying Stories! It’s actually a decent game, just very repetitive.
Invisible Inc is actually a very well made game as well. I got it on a Steam sale and have only had a chance to dabble, but I actually think that’s a decent offering, if you can get over their obscurity.
VVVVVV is pretty well known among the small, indie titles; sorta similar to games like Bit.Trip Runner.
I had that on my phone at some point. It was pretty fun, but didn’t get very far in it.
It’s odd. All of the PS+ December titles are up. Except, only the PS3 version of Hyper Void is on the page. I added it to my cart and checked out anyhow. Then went to the PS4 page and I can now download it for free… so if you want a 5th PS+ game and one that has a VR component, go here:
Day of The Tentacle Remastered, PS4 (Cross buy on PS Vita)
This War of Mine: The Little Ones, PS4
The Swindle, PS3 (Cross Buy on PS4 and PS Vita)
Azkend 2, PS Vita, (Not listed, but certainly is Cross Buy on PS4)
Titan Souls, PS Vita (Cross Buy on PS4)
Not too shabby. I’d play Day of the Tentacle and This War of Mine. Maybe even Swindle. Titan Souls, not so much.
LittleBigPlanet 3 // PS4
Not a Hero // PS4
Starwhal // PS3, cross buy with PS4
Anna — Extended Edition // PS3
Ninja Senki DX // PS Vita, cross buy with PS4
TorqueL // PS Vita, cross buy with PS4
I have LBP3 and it’s good. I have no idea about the rest.
LBP3 is good fun.
Sadly I bought LBP3 during a digital sale and still haven’t played much of it. Oh well.
Disc Jam, PS4
Tearaway Unfolded, PS4
Under Night: In-Birth, PS3
Earth Defense Force 2025, PS3
Lumo, PS Vita (crossbuy on PS4)
Severed, PS Vita
Tearaway is a fun game. For awhile. Then it gets really long. And here’s a pro tip… you can use the Playstation app as your camera and writing surface, so you don’t have to use the touchpad for everything.
Sweet. I thought that game looked interesting, but probably wouldn’t have ever dropped money on it.
