A new Sharefactory update is rolling out today with new features that will make Sharefactory more than just a video editor. With Sharefactory update 2.0, you can create animated GIFs, photo collages, and more. Also, with the launch of PS4 Pro just around the corner, Sharefactory will also fully support the system with this new update.

We’re excited about the new animated GIF feature, which can be easily shared to Twitter right from your console via Sharefactory. Using content from your Capture Gallery or your existing Sharefactory projects, you can create looping animated GIFs up to 10 seconds long. Sharefactory is currently the only way to create and share animated GIFs on PS4.

The new update also adds Photo Mode — a great way to show off some of your best Trophy and gaming moments. You can easily create custom photo collages with up to six photos. You can also utilize most of the existing filters and effects from Sharefactory to add to your photos.

Additionally, Sharefactory’s 2.0 update will support PS4 Pro’s high resolution content so you can create, personalize, and share your 1080p videos and 4K screenshots with the world, straight from your Capture Gallery.

  • Other features in this update include:
  • Projects now export up to 20% faster
  • Pan & Zoom on your gameplay videos
  • New Sharefactory troll stickers
  • New font for “Internet meme”
  • Split clip feature can now be utilized on Track 2
  • Refreshed UI

Animated GIFs?!?!?!!? Sweet!

Linky to that PaRappa Demo!/en-us/games/parappa-the-rapper-remastered-demo/cid=UP9000-CUSA07045_00-UCUS98702PSXDEMO

Played it Saturday night. Yup, sure is PaRappa. Demo is like 1/4th of the game, since there was only like 4 or 5 stages.

Has there be a price range announced for PaRappa, Patapon and LocoRoco?

Not that I’ve seen.

Hopefully it’s not too steep, especially for PaRappa, although Sony could practically charge whatever they want for it and nostalgia will fill their pockets.

I’m shocked at how high No Man’s Sky is no the list. That hype seemed to work. Also… well done, Battlefront. Well done.

I’d much rather prefer seeing a chart of total sales for games, combining physical and digital. These digital charts are meaningless to me when you have games like Uncharted 4 selling over almost 9 million copies total, which is probably higher than anything on that list.

I’m not. People bought into Sony and Hello Game’s hype machine like fucking crazy. Unfortunately, if Steam’s current player count is anything to go by, I can only assume it’s also practically nonexistent on consoles as well. If anything should be learned here, it’s that you shouldn’t preorder anything based solely off of hype, especially digitally.

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round: Core Fighters is free-to-play, but the catch is that it starts you out with only features the four of Ayane, Hayate, Kasumi, and Ryu Hayabusa as its “core” characters. Players basically get to try out the rest of the game and its different modes for free, and can purchase the rest of the characters as DLC.

To commemorate the milestone, Koei Tecmo is giving away Mila as a free character on PlayStation 4 for PlayStation Plus subscribers, which you can grab right now with the game in North America and Europe. Mila will be free until February 7, 2017.!/en-us/games/limited-time-only-doa5lr-core-fighters-mila/cid=UP4108-CUSA01665_00-COREFIGHTERMILA0

Have any of these F2P fighters caught on? I know the Soul Calibur one was a huge bust. Can’t think of many more off the top of my head.

I take that back, KI was/is pretty successful on Xbox.

People seem to like Killer Instinct.

Yeah, originally forgot about that one and figured that’s what you were going to respond with when I saw you typing.

Got an email from Sony today with my 2016 stats. I’m really curious to see everyone else’s. I have a feeling I know what’s #1 on @blackzipper’s list. Probably the same as mine. Also, I think I got my money’s worth out of No Man’s Sky.
