Hello Games

Can’t wait til they fix this game in time to release it on Xbox! Thanks for being guinea pigs guys. :grinning:

You’re also welcome for us getting the XB1 to where it is now! Trolololooool.

That’s Usain Bolt at the finish line level of trolling yo.

Not my GIFs, but… how can you criticize a game that has Sonic AND dino-on-ship love-making?

GIF time you say?

Um… holy shit.

Hey, look! I found the Traveler from Destiny in No Man’s Sky.

I guess we’re just turning this into a picture gallery now.

The bottom two were from my new favorite planet “Red Beauty”. Everywhere you looked was picturesque.

Just for you, Jeff. A penis monster of my very own.

I like this shot a lot.

Here are some of my latest.

I spent the whole weekend on only two planets for the most part. The first planet had extreme Sentinels, so I cranked out the two survival trophies. And by “cranked” I mean “sat inside a shelter hiding for 7 hours.” Don’t worry… I did the dishes while I waited. Now that those ridiculous things are out of the way, the rest should just happen during the course of normal play.

The second planet had tons of Gravitrons or whatever they are called, lots of crashed starships and lots of Drop Pods, so I maxed out my suit and got a 48-slot ship. I’m not a huge fan of how it looks, but it’ll do for now. If only I could upgrade my Omni-tool…

So I think I may have screwed myself by waiting so long to upgrade my ship. I finally gave up and used the Gek glitch where I discovered like 20 crashed ships at once. I justified it to myself that if I was playing on PC I probably would have downloaded an inventory mod by now. Any way, I went around, got about 6-7 crashed ships, getting frustrated about a quarter of them were actually worse, and got my ship up to about 25 slots. That took all night, so I figured, screw this, I’m going to grind these pearl things and buy one of those 30-35 slot ships I saw earlier for a few million dollars. Spent another night saving up about 4 mil, went to the space station just to find out those same ships now cost 13-18 mil!

So the consensus seems to be… I’m glad I haven’t bought it yet.

The Gek glitch thing worked for me, but I had to do it a few times, but at stations far from one another or else they’d be locating ships I’ve already rejected. Like, I’d locate about 8-10 ships at one, find all of them upgrading when I can and breaking down all of the components and storing the resources. Then I’d move on in one direction for a few minutes (sometimes up to 10), find another tower and repeat. I did this… 5 or 6 times before being satisfied. The last time was almost all 48-slot ships, I just had to pick the one I liked the best. Here is the ship I ended up with, fully upgraded, 48-slots, and looks like a Delorean mixed with an X-wing. Kinda.

The 48-slot ships are about 119 million. Finding them is so much better.

And here are a few shots of the planets I visited while trying to get this ship and the one I am currently visiting.

If by “consensus” you mean “Threctory,” then yes. Because I’m enjoying it immensely and many on my friend’s list are still playing it regularly.

Have you guys noticed any differences in how the different physical ship variations fly? Not counting any upgrades you might have to boosters and all that, do they all feel the same or is there some difference in handling?

I had a bigger, bulkier ship once and it felt sluggish in turning and was terrible in dogfights. That’s about all I’ve noticed so far.

Hard to drop $60 on a game that’s missing have half, if not more, of the features that the Moleneux, I mean Murray, had promised. Not to mention being littered with a so many questionable and some downright terrible UI and gameplay decisions.

I don’t care if you or others are enjoying it, people enjoyed Batman V Superman, but your jimmies must be pretty rustled that someone (me of all people) doesn’t like your new favorite game. So please, continue dropping my name as a negative when you know that A LOT of the No Man’s Sky community is not happy with the final retail version of the game.

Have fun with your Stockholm syndrome and waiting for patches to “fix” your $60 AAA game.

I’m still not sure how I feel about it. I enjoy it when I play but it doesn’t call to me at all. But that’s most games nowadays, so I don’t know if it’s a general malaise, this game, or both. I don’t think its worth $60 (right now) and I’m a little disappointed with the missing features but I don’t dislike it.

I feel like when I pay $15+ for a burger and the experience is just kind of like ‘EH’. Wasn’t worth the price but the burger was still enjoyable and different than most, so I don’t feel ripped off necessarily.

I mean, I still played Fallout 4 to completion even though it’s probably my least favorite Fallout game. It pissed me off and annoyed me regularly, but parts of it were fun enough to keep me going, so I know the feeling to some degree.
