I picked Future War Cult. I think they had a Scout Rifle and that’s pretty much my favorite weapon for PvE and Crucible.
Yeah, I think I’m going FWC for the weapons. I love my Nameless Midnight but it’s not even the highest, nor best perked versions, so I need some guns.
I was FWC in D1, I’m not about too switch loyalties now.
So I guess in this game you kinda get stuck unless you have people to do stuff with? Got my Power level to 268 but doing Strikes doesn’t really improve anything now. Just gambling on random weapon upgrades. Didn’t realize Nightfall wasn’t “Matchmaking” and went in there alone the other night… whoops.
Yeah, Bimble and I used the LFG tab on the app to find a third for the nightfall, but you can also use the Guided Game feature to either group up with two others who are in a clan together, or if you have another clanmate you can be the guides and get a third. We just didn’t want to do that since we hadn’t finished the nightfall before and didn’t really know what we were doing, but that feature seems pretty slick. It’s their way to try to take some randomness out of matchmaking.
Is that what Guided Game is??
I might try this today then. I just kinda hit a wall.
Let us know how it goes, I have a feeling I will be needing to use that future quite a bit to get any of this group stuff done.
Bigdog, Q-Lock, Dank, and now Riddler and Janitor are usually on and looking to do Nightfall and whatnot. You should hit them up.
Speaking of people helping out noobs in raids, I see a few familiar names here who ran my pathetic behind through the Vault of Glass the first time:
I’m ready to Raid. You should set something up @LASSIE. Because I’m too lazy and anti-social to do it.
"Hey, owl. I’m Mark Wahlberg. Say ‘hi’ to your mother for me."
This game is pretty. Not Horizon or Uncharted pretty, but still quite pretty.
Up to 273, fun times.
Holy crap. That was probably one of two times I did that.
- Sweet Business (Auto Rifle): 29 Legendary Shards
- Raiden Flux (Hunter Class Chest Armor): 23 Legendary Shards
- Doom Fang Pauldron (Gauntlets): 23 Legendary Shards
- Winter’s Guile (Warlock Class Gauntlets): 23 Legendary Shards
That’s, by far, my favorite location of the entire game—love the New Pacific Arcology.
It’s a shame that I don’t love the Crucible in this game.
I fucking hate Arcology. Fuck that place and shit running at me and screaming and screeching. Fuck it so hard.
Had fun doing Crucible with Bat and Zod Prime though
With Destiny 2’s console and PC launches behind us, we want to take some time to talk with you about Destiny 2 – specifically where it’s at today, and where it’s going. Our team has been reading feedback and working on updates to improve the game. We’ve also been reading some tough criticism about our lack of communication, and we agree we need to be more open.
Going forward, Destiny 2’s post-launch game systems, features, and updates are being designed specifically to focus on and support players who want Destiny to be their hobby – the game they return to, and a game where friendships are made. We want Destiny to be a game that fits into your life, providing you with reasons to log in and play with your friends, clans, and families. We want Destiny to be a world you want to be a part of.
A month ago, we published a list of improvements on the blog. Today, we’re going to revisit that list and update its status, and share some of the work the team is readying for December, January, and beyond.
We know it’s frustrating when there isn’t enough of a dialog with the development team. You have our commitment that we’re going to do a better job going forward.
